Motivation and Scope
Until recently, I have investigated Quaternary environments of south-eastern Australia. I focused on reconstructing fluvial environments during the Last Glacial using optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating. The application of OSL on sediments deposited in overdeepened valleys of northern Switzerland and raising the upper age limits of this dating method are my current research interests.
